Usability test

The usability test helps you directly understand the behaviour of website visitors: why do they do what they do? With a usability test, we check back on the behaviour of users of your website and investigate where they experience possible problems. We carry out usability tests for website prototypes (the ‘pre’ test) but also for websites that are already live (the ‘post’ test).

The aims of this investigation are as follows

  • To understand the needs, wishes and expectations of your target groups.
  • An understanding of the whys of surfing behaviour (through observation)
  • Strengths and weaknesses of the website
  • Formulation of concrete and practical improvements

The advantages of a usability test

  • We study the actual behaviour and needs, expectations and wishes of the user. This understanding largely determines the future success of your website
  • The test has a high degree of depth. We can measure many aspects: content, functionality, interaction, usability etc.
  • We can identify usability defects at an early stage in the development process. Your website can therefore be optimised at one stroke, which saves you unnecessary expenditure.

Why Jungle Rating

Our method is unique:

  • Jungle Rating has consciously avoided mirrored walls, thinking aloud, large cameras and a secretary who takes notes in the test room during surfing
  • As far as possible, we simulate a natural user situation. Respondents surf undisturbed. This prevents them from ‘over-performing’

Our employees are unique:

  • Our qualitative researchers are scientifically trained. They have executed hundreds of research projects for companies such as ABN AMRO, Airtrade, Eurorelais, ING, Neckermann, Otto, Proteq, SNS Reaal, Tiscali, TomTom, UPC and Wehkamp
  • We are Internet specialists and we know the best examples from the world of practice. We base our advice on user experience as well as your Internet strategy

Our recommendations are practical:

  • Instead of trying to impress you with thick reports, we formulate concrete and achievable suggestions for improvement
