Corporate Communication Model
The power of the internet channel
Accessible and reliable information about the performance of a company, which is provided on a continuous base, raises confidence of analysts, investors, customers and other stakeholders of the company. This confidence is of crucial importance for the success and attractiveness of the company. Internet is the direct communication channel that enables effective communication with stakeholders. Via this medium it is possible to improve the topicality of communication and to strengthen the interaction with the stakeholders.
In recent years research- and consultancy company Jungle Rating specialised in improving online communication to stakeholders.
For this purpose Jungle Rating has developed a scientific model, the ‘OCQ-Model’(Online Communication Quality Model) that enables the measurement of the quality of the communication directed towards the financial world, press, company clients, labour market and society.

The development of the OCQ-Model
In order to effectively communicate via the internet a first demand is that its functional traits must be optimally user-friendly. In addition to these ‘Website Traits’ it is of critical importance that Website Content reflects the needs of the different stakeholders. Based on these assumptions and other existing communication theories Jungle Rating developed the OCQ-Model.
